Welcome to my website! My name is Alan Denis, 44 years old,  and I am a Rio Private Guide. I live in a neighborhood that I love: Santa Teresa, a bucolic, charming, romantic, bohemian and picturesque area in Rio. I am a licensed guide by EMBRATUR, the Brazilian Institute of Tourism, and have been a Rio de Janeiro Private Tour Guide since 2013, having carried out hundreds of private tours of Rio de Janeiro, Year after year I am more and more in love with my city and with my job as a Rio de Janeiro Tour Guide english speaking.

I was born in Rio de Janeiro, where spend my entire childhood. Have been to 35 countries on all the continents of the world. In these trips, I had the opportunity to be in touch with different languages, people and cultures - and this grew my desire to keep continuing having contact with forigner people. That´s why I choosed this job, so that I can show my city Rio de Janeiro to tourists.

Since 2013, I have been a leading Rio de Janeiro Private Tour Guide, Rio Transfer Driver, and a Tour Operator, specialized in private tours of Rio de Janeiro’s major sites. Since then, conducted hundreds of Rio private city tours including Christ and Sugar Loaf, but also tours that go beyond these 2 main attractions of Rio – such as guided tours of Tijuca Forest, guided tours of Santa Teresa, guided tours to Rio City-Center and a special one called Rio Viewpoints Tour, in which I take the tourists to the 5 most beautiful viewpoints of Rio beyond Christ Redeemer and Sugar Loaf.

I also organize Day-Trips from Rio de Janeiro, to areas like Petropolis, Niteroi, Serra dos Orgaos, Ilha Grande. Other options I offer are Hiking Tours and Experiences, such as Rio Food Tour and Rio Football Tour – as well as Custom Tour of Rio tailored to the customer desires.​​

I am fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and am graduated in Social Communication. In my day-by-day life, I enjoy writing, reading, spirituality, hiking and studying languages. I also speak intermediate French, and when I am not guiding I try to dedicate part of my day to study the language.

During my Private Tours of Rio de Janeiro, I use a 7-seater car (including me as driver guide), and also rent a van for small groups of up to 12 people. My motivation along the tours is to be flexible and to offer my clients tailor-made tours in Rio, customized to their needs and desires, optimizing their time in Rio.
